Christmas in Idaho! (Part 1)
I know I have taken a break from blogging again for awhile because life just got way too busy for me to be able to keep up. Thought I'd drop a few pictures here (thanks to my dad for some of these) of Tony & I in Idaho for Christmas. It just worked out better this year to be here instead of California and we may continue to come in the future depending on what happens with life.

A Trip To Idaho
My dad emailed my family on Friday letting us know he was going to get a new calling on Sunday in his ward if any of us wanted to come see it all go down. I'm always down for a roadtrip so my sister Laura, her 2 boys and I all headed out Friday afternoon to Boise. Tony wanted to come but had too much homework and Rocky was still in Peru. So..girls trip! (minus the 2 boy-kids traveling with us).

Foggy & Frozen
I was in Idaho a couple weeks ago and when I woke up at my parents house Saturday morning after driving all night Friday night, it was so beautiful outside!

Christmas in Idaho Part 2
Pulled up to my parents house in the afternoon on Christmas Day after leaving Tony's parents house and found my brothers outside having a snowball fight. You can see a snowball flying right in the middle there I think.

Christmas In Idaho Part 1
On our way to Idaho on Tuesday after my Christmas work party. If it wasnt for that, we would have left to go to Idaho on Monday evening when we got off work probably. Oh well!

I Stink At Bowling
Friday evening after a day of shopping, Tony and I drove by these awesome deer outside a new shopping mall area in Meridian. I felt like they were playing volleyball or something over the telephone wires. Teheh.
What Thanksgiving Consists Of For Me
This year it meant pretending to send a Snapchat to my friends of my brother Evan and then him lecturing me on how bad Snapchat is. Tehe

Idaho Family Reunion
Tony & I left Salt Lake around 830pm on Wednesday night. Had to stop and use Tony's birthday coupon for Cold Stone before it expired! Priorities ;-) We got to his parents house around 2/230 in the morning. Met up with some of my family at Winco to get donuts (tradition for the 4th of July for a long time now) and me and my sisters decided to go to some garage sales and some thrift stores.
First, here are some other picures...

A Trip to Idaho
This year for my birthday, Tony's mom got me a ticket to go to Time Out for Women in Boise, Idaho. I was pretty excited to go because I have not gone since I was 18 at least and living in CA. It's always a great thing to participate in and I felt like it would be good to go again. Tony & I left Friday evening and drove to Nampa to his parents house. Arrived a bit after 1am and I had to be up at 7am because we were leaving the house to pick up 3 other people at 730! I managed to be ready to go just in time and once we arrived in downtown Boise we had seats saved for us so that was really nice to sit where we did.
Stage set-up. Pink and gray and white. Very nice
Hilary Weeks spoke and sang
Slideshow during intermission I recognized the people in the picture on the left! Very cool
We ate at Five Guys across the street for lunch but after waiting nearly an hour for our food I did not waste time taking a picture of it because I was so hungry!
My youngest brother Evan, 16, driving my car. He actually did a pretty good job.
We were headed to Tony's parents house for dinner - pizza! with his brother , sister in law and niece.
Did some 'extreme' couponing with Evan and Tony's sister Trishna in the evening at Walmart. More on this in a separate post. I got a total of 90 items. So insane and exhausting. I'm glad I dont do this every day but I will say couponing in Idaho is WAY better than in Utah!
On Sunday we went to Tony's parents ward for church. I recognize certain families from being there in the past so it's fun to see them and how their kids have grown.
Went to my parents house for a lunch of tacos and Allison & her husband Trevor came over too.
I got to meet my newest nephew Teagan. My dad is holding him in this picture.
He slept the entire time, only opening his eyes once in awhile to take a peek at who was holding him.

Shoshone Falls
I am passionate about a few things in life at the moment and right now some of these things happen to be owls, pandas, hot air balloons & waterfalls. I was beyond stoked to check out Shoshone Falls, just 10-15 min from the Twin Falls, ID temple. Thanks to my friend Scott Jarvie for the heads up about it! It did not disappoint.
The drive in
This caption is for the top right hand picture:
"Now, make a fist. Slowly ease it up underneath your chin..." "hold still right there. Now, just imagine you're weightless, in the middle of the ocean, surrounded by tiny little seahorses."
Laura, Rocky & lil Riley
Sweet little waterfalls on the side of the road. I tried to take a quick picture as we drove by
Before we left we had to make a pressed penny. Rocky had never done this before so it was fun to watch him marvel at the picture that ended up on the penny. Good times! So pretty and peaceful here.

Happy Wedding Day
My brother Jeffrey married his gf McKayla on August 3rd 2012 at 5pm in the Twin Falls, ID temple since the Boise temple was closed or else they might have gotten married there. Laura , Rocky & Riley drove from Utah as well as Tony & I. My sister in Washington and my brother in Arkansas were not able to make it.
I am not sure why these pictures turned out so tiny but here is the newly married couple. You can probably click to make the collage larger
They took a reallly long time to come out of the temple so while we waited outside I got to hold Riley & feed him a bottle. He got a little drunk on his milk it looks like from the first picture. Teehee
Taking random pictures while we waited & waited

Bottom left hand picture is McKayla's brother and his gf
My family. Me, my sister, dad, McKayla, Jeffrey (my brother) , Mom and Evan. I'm not sure why Evan is standing so far away from us...
We were finally able to escape to check out Shoshone Falls (next post) and go to dinner with Laura & Rocky. Stopped by the temple later in the evening to pick up our car since we carpooled and I got this night time shot on my camera while Tony was busy using his camera and the tripod to take a bunch of pictures.
Trying to do a self-shot
There was SO much Lambs Ear. I love this stuff bc the leaves are so soft!

Lions Gate Manor
The one good picture I got of us on the trip. Married 1 year now!
Hoping for many more together <3
Some more pictures I took of where we stayed so you can get a better idea
Free Tours & a gift apparently when you come get a tour. I wonder what the gift is!

These stairs lead to a common area and doors to some of the rooms as well as the office
This fancy wooden birdcage was upstairs. Very cool! So fancy
The view from the deck upstairs. Deer come around in the morning and evenings. I saw one sitting under a tree when we were out on the deck. Neat!
The dining room where we were served breakfast Sunday morning. So fancy and elegant!
Breakfast started out with this, and a muffin slice which I ate before I took the pic. Oops
We were cooked yummy eggs, hash browns, toast , bacon and sausage. Such a feast for someone who doesn't eat much for breakfast, esp at 8am! There was hot chocolate with homemade whipped cream, orange juice, milk and water. There were 3 different jelly/jams for the toast.
Posing for a pic before heading to the hot springs. I liked the lions up by the stairs
The view from the front porch. I do hope we get to go back and stay again sometime!
