Dinner & Treats in Utah

I took Reese and Riley to In N Out for some dinner. Reese had fun and got creative with his In N Out stickers.

Next we went to a place Tony's cousin told me about called Bubbles. We've been sad ever since a different drink place closed in West Valley that we really liked. Reese and Riley picked their own drinks (same one) and I got something different. Mine was the Pink Dragon with peach fruit pearls on top.  The boys' drinks were called Shark Attack.

We also tried the S'mores cookie which was really yummy. Nice and soft!

The employees were friendly and we didn't have any issues. There was actually nobody inside the building besides us and the people working!

TruReligion Restaurant Experience

Cool floor!
S'mores hot chocolate!

My friend Nessa and I met up for lunch on my way out of Utah on Monday. This restaurant looked to have a good selection on their menu online and when I called (I got a late start) and asked how quick their service was, I was told we could just tell our waiter we were in a bit of a hurry (school pick-up!) and they could put a rush on our food.

Disneyland Week - Let's Go!

A week? Oh yes, pretty much...almost a whole week! I didn't think I could survive 3 days in a row at Disneyland after going last June and running myself ragged. The MaxPass is a huge time saver on your feet and waiting in lines. We got on soo many rides, it was for sure worth it! Here are some fun pictures from my trip, starting with Monday.

Some back story first, I was invited to meet up with my sister and her family who live in Washington, when they came out to go to Disneyland for a couple weeks. Yep - a couple weeks! They started out with a pass for a few days then upgraded to a year pass that included the MaxPass with it. This trip has been planned for a year or so and I was super stoked that it finally was happening! I haven't seen this particular sister and her family for a couple years...far too long!

A Saturday Well Spent

Saturday was my last full day in Utah to really get everything done that I needed to.

Started out with yard sales in Daybreak and man, Laura and I only covered a small fraction before she had to get home so Rocky could go sell tires. I wanted to go back out, and could have, but I had a ton to get done and just until probably 9pm to do it.

I was able to join my family at the Jordan River temple open house on Thursday morning before I needed to head to the Sandy Expo Center to help set up for the Let's Create Expo.

LDS Conference Weekend Eats

Saturday morning session of LDS General Conference we may have missed due to being at the screening for Rio 2. We did catch the afternoon session and ate our leftovers from Bucca Di Beppo the previous night.

Sunday was a different story. Tony's cousin Joey came over and my sister Laura & her family came over and we made so much deliciousness for breakfast.

Valentine's Pinterest Party!

I'm excited to post about another holiday themed Pinterest party. So very fun! I kept things simple this time and while there was not tons of food to eat or swag bags, it was a lot less stressful for sure.

My sister Laura brought a delicious cake

Lindsay brought pineapple cut in to the shape of hearts. So cute & perfect for the party!

Amberly brought glazed donuts and Tony made us a DiGiornio pizza and I got some Valentine taffy

Plate full of yummy treats!

On to the crafts we made!

Farkle is the game Lindsay brought for us to make.
- baby food jars
- game instructions
- dice
- duct tape ( to decorate jars )
- washi tape (this was used too )

I think they turned out so cute!

Ta-Da! The Cricut Explore made an appearance at the party too! Super lucky to have that happen! This is the newest cutting machine from Cricut and it's not out until mid-March to the public. Super cant wait to get mine!

We made these cute heart ornaments with the Cricut

Last but not least, we made these bottle cap magnets. I got the stickers at Hobby Lobby and the clear bubble stickers that go on top as well. There are magnets on the back and the bottle caps too , all came from Hobby Lobby! I did go to Michaels but they did not have a good selection of this type of thing at all. Pretty disappointing. Check out Hobby Lobby if you want to make jewelry or do crafts with these bottle caps because they have all the supplies and lots of colors to choose from!

Looking forward to doing another Pinterest party again soon.

What Thanksgiving Consists Of For Me

This year it meant pretending to send a Snapchat to my friends of my brother Evan and then him lecturing me on how bad Snapchat is. Tehe

Idaho Family Reunion

Tony & I left Salt Lake around 830pm on Wednesday night. Had to stop and use Tony's birthday coupon for Cold Stone before it expired! Priorities ;-) We got to his parents house around 2/230 in the morning. Met up with some of my family at Winco to get donuts (tradition for the 4th of July for a long time now) and me and my sisters decided to go to some garage sales and some thrift stores.

First, here are some other picures...

Happy Valentine's Day!

February 14th was such a fun day. First it all started February 13th when I made treats for the people I visit teach. I have 7 people to visit! Except...I dont. Yea, shame on me. Long story I dont really want to go in to but I wanted to take these ladies treats for the holiday so here we go.

Cupcakes in the beginning stages

All decorated with strawberry frosting and cinnamon candies

Packaged up and ready to go

Dipped strawberry wafers in chocolate (red chocolate) and sprinkles

Here's a close-up

I also made sugar cookies , not for delivering but for Tony & I. The dough only made 12

I was supposed to bring these to the Pinterest party but I missed it because I was sick. So I delivered a couple to my friends who were there and then the rest went to my VT peeps.

Now on to Tony time - I decorated his bathroom mirror as a surprise for the next morning. This is a bathroom , really, it is a 1/2 bathroom 1/2 laundry room.

I took this idea from Pinterest - raspberries with a white chip inside

These were the flowers Tony bought for me. Love them. They are so pretty and the perfect colors for Valentine's Day.

Tony made us scrambled eggs for breakfast before we headed out to the mall in West Valley for the Cake Dive (see previous post). When I got home around 830am I was hungry again so I had 2 sugar cookies & a banana

Presents from Tony in the evening! Owl earring holder, cookies & some yummy hot chocolate.

We first stopped at Kebab House on Redwood Road which no longer exists. Sad day.
Then we went to Harbor Freight so I could buy Tony a couple tools he wanted - this was his present from me.

Then we went to eat at Puro Peru (used to be K'Rico)
I'm happy they brought out the Peruvian corn while we waited for our food

What I ordered...chicken breast, salad and rice. So yum

Tony got lomo saltado but with chicken. The sauce is different now but we both liked it a lot

Came home and were going to watch a movie but Tony had work the next day so we watched a couple shows in the DVR and called it a night.

All in all a great Valentine's Day! What did you do to celebrate...anything special?

A Party! A Party!

I love any reason to throw a party and Super Bowl is a good excuse to have a get together with food and friends. Unfortunately I was still getting over being sick so I kinda uninvited some of the friends I had invited. Laura & Riley came over to party with Tony & I so we kept it small this time.

All the food! Some orange soda, Crystal Light, a meat , cheese & cracker tray, baby carrots, ice oatmeal cookies , tomatoes, chips, salsa, pretzels and imagine a DiGornio pizza in the empty spot there in the front middle.

Tony with his laptop watching the pre-game stuff

Riley!

Riley is ready to go.

Thanks Laura & Riley for coming over to hang out for a bit! Hopefully next year nobody will be sick and I can get more people to come :)
