I Stink At Bowling

Friday evening after a day of shopping, Tony and I drove by these awesome deer outside a new shopping mall area in Meridian. I felt like they were playing volleyball or something over the telephone wires. Teheh.

What Thanksgiving Consists Of For Me

This year it meant pretending to send a Snapchat to my friends of my brother Evan and then him lecturing me on how bad Snapchat is. Tehe

Shame On Me

The problem with taking a little break from blogging because Christmas is such a busy time, is that you have a TON of catching up to do. Eek. Where did I leave off!?

The rest of my Idaho Thanksgiving trip...
Hailey is a Sacramento Kings fan
looking for deals online for Black Friday shopping
Black Friday was pretty good. I scored a lot of movies for $3-$5 and got some I really wanted. Sadly I found Elf for way less than the $10 I paid at Hastings. Ah oh well. Found my niece a cute hat and gloves for $2. Score for deals! Got some clothes...Tony was such a sweetheart and stood in a VERY long line at Kohls while Laura , Rocky & I browsed. I was the only one who ended up finding a few things. We went to ShopKo and scored some sweet stuff and I got the PJ snowflake pants I wanted at Old Navy. Tony surprised me with a beautiful necklace to wear on our wedding day (so thoughtful!) but the we found some real good jewelry at a diff. store for wayyy cheaper than he had bought 1 necklace for. SO he returned that one and we bought a different necklace, along with some earrings instead, combined total was much less than the cost of the 1 necklace he had bought. Score again!

some more Hailey cuteness
Shopped all day and that evening we hung out and watched some shows on my laptop at my parents house. Saturday was another day for more shopping and that evening I went to Tony's parents house in Nampa for "Thanksgiving dinner" which was Hawaiian Haystacks!! Mmmm YES! The dinner was awesome and all his siblings and their spouses were there. Then we picked up my brother Evan and we all went to play black light mini golf.

It Was A Dark & Stormy Night

All good stories start out with that title, so I thought mine would too. It wasn't exactly dark and stormy when I flew out of Phoenix on Tues the 23rd of November, but it sure was in Utah! So much in fact that my Southwest flight got delayed THREE times so I had to cancel all the evening plans I'd made (which was pretty disappointing)...so much for getting in to SLC at 8pm!
Entertained myself by people watching and watching a movie on my Netflix. Finally got to SLC about 10pm. Grabbed some food with Tony at Taco Bell and called it a night.
I could see my breath at the airport..so cold and snowy! BRRR

Woke up to this the next day - wintery white wonderland

Picked up the rental car at the airport, got upgraded from an economy and we didnt have to pay for it - thank goodness! Stopped at KRico for some lunch to bring on the road and started the 6 hour drive to Idaho. Left about 12:30, encountered a little bit of slick roads and ice but not too bad. Tony drove the whole way. We stopped in Twin Falls and went to Target to get some more snacks and stopped at Walmart in Meridian and we finally got to my parents house around 7:30/8pm.  Thanksgiving Eve and we made it just in time!
