Bipolar Utah Weather

I didnt plan it actually snowing while I was in Utah, but I should have known the weather would be tricky like that! I did bring my snow jacket but not any boots. Luckily for me it didn't stick too long even though there seemed to be over an inch on the ground when I woke up!

Monday Utah Adventures

Monday I woke up and got to steppin' because I knew there was a lot I wanted to get done. First up being lunch at a new place and a visit to EmilieJayne in Salt Lake.

One More Week In Utah

I came back from my Seattle trip (blogging about that here soon) to a dentist appointment to get my permanent crown on my tooth at Apex Dental. They are pretty great and my dentist does a fantastic job and is very personable.

Uptown Cheapskate Is Now In Sugarhouse!

My sister Laura & I went to the grand opening of a new Uptown Cheapskate location in Sugarhouse in October and I was so very excited to attend. There is an UC close to where I live and I frequent it often, to either sell clothes or browse whats new.

Oh What A Night!

My sister and I went out to Traverse Mountain Outlets in Lehi for the Christmas tree lighting and to see Zendaya perform and hang out a bit because she's never been to these outlets before. We got there just in time to participate in the countdown and watch the tree light up. It was so pretty. It was SO CROWDED. The tree blocked a lot of the standing space for the stage and the sound quality was poor (too much bass) but I got to hear her sing "Replay" and that's all I really wanted. We checked out a few stores, Maurices, Nike, American Eagle and then we headed out.

An Arizona Trip [part 2]

Saturday morning I woke up early and went to my good friend Candace's house to hang out for a bit. She made me a delicious smoothie for breakfast!

Then we headed out to look for baby clothes...she was pregnant with her first little girl and I was looking for some warm winter clothes for my nephew. The shopping trip was a success and then we went to Phoenix so I could vote and then ended our time with some pizza from Barro's (one of my favorites).

Me and Candace. I heart her!

Spent some time walking around one of my favorite Goodwill stores in Mesa and found this awesome hot air balloon..smock or something. Haha.

The temps were a bit warmer on Saturday

Tony got me this drink for me to bring to Arizona. Love him. It was yummy

I had won Kayola Skinner's famous cinnamon rolls in a contest on Facebook awhile back and I was finally able to get them! Fresh batch thank goodness...it was not months old. I shared them with Johnny & Brittany because it was too many to eat all by myself!

Getting gas at the Fry's down the street where I used to live. Brand new pumps. Nice!

New Outlets at Traverse Mountain!

I was able to get on the invite list for blogger night at the new Traverse Mountain Outlets in Lehi on November 15th. I had been out in the area the night before which was handy because I knew right where to go! I met up with my friend Aimee and we got a welcome from the head person who helped make the outlets happen. I wish I could remember her name!

Then we all got a swag bag with some gifts and coupons and we were sent off to shop! We got raffle tickets for bringing canned food for the Utah Food Bank and a radio station was drawing numbers every thirty minutes. Aimee and I each won a gift card, thank goodness! We had soo many raffle tickets. I picked a gift card to the Gold Toe sock store & bought some Christmas presents ;-)

We were told to check out the bathrooms so we made sure to do that! The bathrooms were so big and spacious! The hallway in to the bathroom, the space between the stalls, IN the stalls ( I checked that out a week or so later) and the mothers lounge, so much room for strollers and moms with kids. Everything was super clean and the design was modern and fit in well.

There were free treats along the way, my hands were so full I did not take a picture but there were tables set up that you could get hot chocolate, popcorn and other yummy treats as you shopped. So nice!

This became one of my new favorite stores and I took some pictures of some of my favorite items. Since Black Friday was coming...and Christmas too, I just window shopped and drooled for now.

Spent some time in Le Creuset which is a neat store that has kitchen dishes and neat accessories in fun colors. I bought Tony a Christmas present there. Hehe.  Ultra Diamonds & Gold was a store with jewelry at excellent prices. I was so surprised.  We spent awhile in there looking around and made friends with one of the girls who worked there. I cant wait to take Tony to the store and show him whats there. Next we hit up the Gap and I bought Riley a Christmas present. So many sales + we had a coupon but I only walked out with 1 thing. It was pretty crowded in there! We window shopped the other stores and I want to go back again for sure to look around some more.

The prices out here are so great, I love going shopping at the outlet stores and I can sense future trips to the outlets at Traverse Mountain in the future!

Be aware that the only places to get food so far are Johnny Rockets (YUM) and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory (double yum!) More restaurants will be added as time goes on.

Check out the website for more information and details on hours, stores, etc!
