 I know I did this in the last year or two but I can't help myself. This is fun to put together and it stays current when I just do it every other year or so. SO! Are you ready?! My birthday month is just about over and it's been soo fun taking advantage of birthday deals! The deals below are a mix of restaurants and other shopping. 

2019 Birthday Deals!

I wasn't going to do this every year but it seems like it's a popular thing that people want to read about and this year it was requested that I link each deal so I tried to do that. It's hard to find any deals these days where you can just show ID and take advantage of the offer. Yes, I'm on a ton of email lists but a lot of the time it is worth it, esp. when a birthday rolls around. Most of these deals are for food but some are for items. Leave me a comment if you know of any others that you don't see here so I can add them in the future!

How About A Birthday At Disneyland?!

My friend Brian works for Disney in Burbank and gets free tickets throughout the year. He had posted on Facebook that he had free tickets for Wednesday - July 10th - my birthday! Tony was off work because of the recent earthquakes so I quickly messaged Brian and everything fell into place.

Turning 29 - Again!

2018 Birthday Deals

I put together a birthday deals blog post a few years ago and tried to update it once but it is soo much easier just to make a whole new post. I've joined various email lists throughout the years and have compiled the deals from all of them for you. Some deals require an app, some just require showing the offer on your phone, a few you have to print out. I don't think all these deals are super great but some really are! Enjoy.

Birthday Celebrating All Month Long!

My birthday was July 10th and we celebrated on the 9th by going to Bear World in Idaho. So so fun. Each week I wanted to do something that friends could come to so one week was a movie in the park, nobody came. The next week was Draper Days and no one was able to come to that either. Next I did a night at Create Donut which is a new dessert place in Sandy. I actually had quite a few friends that were able to come. Hooray! Here are a few pictures from that night but sadly I did not take many at all because I was too busy talking to everyone!

Portland Oregon Day 1

I know I have other things to blog about but I wanted to blog about this trip while the details are still fresh in my head. Tony dropped me off at the airport about around 630. My flight was supposed to leave at 8.  I have not flown in 5 years so I was a little nervous about remembering to do everything correctly. Lucky for me, everything went perfectly and I boarded my flight, bought some wifi and the hour and a half passed pretty quickly.

90 Is A Big Number!

I drove to California on May 7th for my grandpa's 90th surprise birthday party which was happening on the 9th. 

Where Have I Been?

Certainly not blogging, that's been obvious! Makes me so so sad. I've fallen really behind. I blame it on starting a new job and not being able to be online much during the day. Not that I really blogged during work before but once 5pm hit I could get a blog post up or if I got up before 9am I could write something and schedule it to post later in the day. Sigh. I'm not sure that there is any other explanation besides the fact that when I get off work I dont always get to go straight home & when I do get home I have piles of stuff to clean up (clothes, dishes, mail , etc) and then I get so tired because Im getting up earlier for work.  Also some nights I've been falling asleep earlier leaving less time for online stuff and just other life stuff in general! Excuses? These are mine. I am realizing I'm so bad at managing my time and I am trying to figure out how to be better.

So...here's what I have been up to (esp on the weekends) during the month of June!

The Month of July

While garage sale-ing down in the Orem-Provo area, I saw this cool setup up on the grass of a place people go for healing inbetween the hospital and going back home. When I saw this I knew I wanted pictures with this mock " stonehenge".

Celebrated my birthday by eating at Rodizio Grill at Trolley Square in SLC with Laura, Rocky & Riley. We had such a good time!

Later in the month we went to see Wicked in SLC! Tony got us tickets for my birthday and I was so excited to go! We barely found the location in time, about 5 minutes before the show started. We were up in the balcony but just a few rows from the front. I have a lot of friends who rave about this show. I liked it but at times, esp in the beginning, it was hard to understand the words that were being sang/said. Not sure if it was the actors or the mics or just my ears. The first half of the show felt longer than the second half, the second half went by SO fast! So so glad we finally got to see this. Possibly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Who knows. Yay for doing new things!
