Ridgecrest and Salt Lake City are about 10 hours apart. On April 19th, I left Ridgecrest, knowing I would not be back for awhile. Part of me was okay with that but the other part knew I'd miss Jay, my birds and our house so much!
Why in Utah for so long? There is and was a lot going on that I wanted to be here for and it didn't make sense to drive back and forth for it all.
The main things were Snap Conf (blog conf), my brother's graduation from BYU, volunteering at the Everything Food Conference and my parents coming down from Idaho to visit.
