Thanksgiving Point - Tulip Festival!

Recently I found out I won 4 tickets from ArtsyFartsyMama's blog to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. Since I was leaving town on the 25th and the tickets arrived in the mail on the 20th, it didn't give me a lot of time to use them. No worries though because I made it work on Wednesday evening before Tony & I headed out of town.

This tulip is taller than me!

Took my sister Laura along with me

There were quite a few people there but I managed to get some pictures without any strangers in the background.  There were lots of strollers & loud kids, babies, rude old people in golf carts and a Girl Scout troop. Still had a fun time though.

So bright!

The building in the middle of the picture, there in the back, is where we started walking from!

Inside the Secret Garden area of Thanksgiving Point.
It makes me want to watch the movie again. I watched it quite a bit when I was a kid.

My favorite statue

Soo happy that I was able to go enjoy the flowers and take time to breathe and relax a little from my super stressful week. I actually forgot about everything going on for a couple hours and just had fun taking pictures and walking around with my sister.

Have you ever gone to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point?
