I really love going to see the Mormon Tabernacle Choir perform when I visit Utah and it worked out to go with my friend Alice who so kindly picked me up in the Winco parking lot and we headed downtown!

Blogger Night Out - Hospital Tour

A few days ago my sister and I went to a blogger event in SLC at a new section for Primary Children's Hospital that opens next month to the public. But before the tour, we started out with a delicious dinner of meat, veggies, potatoes and mushrooms. The mushrooms were flavored so deliciously!

Let's Run A 5k!

A few months ago I blogged about The Color Run 5K that was coming to SLC, UT in August. Well, August is here and the 5K came! I had 2 tickets and luckily my sister Laura was able to participate with me. Huge thanks to Tony for watching 2 year old Riley and then all we had to worry about was Laura's little guy, Reese. 

Slide the City in SLC

I heard about this event recently called "Slide the City" and a couple weeks ago it arrived in SLC! Basically there was a giant 1000 ft. water slide set up from the capitol to temple square area. I paid to slide once but next year I want to get the all day pass. My friend Alisa was in town and she came with me which was so nice because Tony had homework to do. 

SLC Chalk Art Festival

My parents and brothers came to visit and on June 14th we went to the Gateway mall in SLC where there was a chalk art festival going on to bring awareness about foster children. I took some pictures of some of my favorite ones!

SLC Adventures: Aerial Art Show

A few weeks ago I won tickets to see an Aerial Arts Show in SLC from the blog Fun Cheap Or Free. I was so excited to do something I'd never done before or seen before in real life. I told Tony I had a special date night planned but didn't tell him any details. Saturday was pretty busy with Tony at school all day working on a project and I spent the morning with my sister and then at the Festival of Colors in Spanish Fork. Tony & I met up in the evening though and we saw this:

OoOo Spooky! Nightmare On 13th in SLC & Giveaway!

Hi! My name is Laura and I am doing a guest post for my sister's blog! Stacie got two passes to Nightmare on 13th in Salt Lake City from a local blogger and generously passed them on to me! My husband Rocky and I decided it would be a fun date night! Nightmare on 13th is one of the top 5 haunted houses in the nation and we were excited to see what they had to offer this year. They have 3 sections to go through, starting with the Dark Harvest, then going on to 13 Levels of Fear, and finishing up with Mutant.
