Happy Mother's Day To Me!

Sooo I know that Mother's Day is past now but I just wanted to blog a little about it. I also know I'm not a mom to my own kids but it's all good! I'm kinda like a mom (well auntie really) to my nephew Riley and I'm a mom to my 5 birds! Works perfect for me :)

I actually didn't take that many pictures (shocking I know) but here are a few I did take...

Happy Easter

Here's what I wore to church. White capped sleeve shirt from DownEast Basics, sweater from Kohls, necklace from Tillys, black skirt from Ross, teal shoes from Keen.

Church went well, Tony taught Sunday School, sacrament meeting was good...special musical number is always nice but I was really anxious to get home for lunch. 9am church doesnt leave much time to eat esp when you get up at..well..I wont say what time from staying up with Tony the night before until 2:30am while he finished up his lesson.

Tony made crepes for us for lunch. This is one of my favorite things!

Fresh strawberries...well, fresh from the grocery store ;-)

Then we exchanged Easter baskets later in the afternoon.
Yea, I did pick out my own treats but that happens sometimes!

I gave Tony his favorite Cheetos, Sour Patch Kids , Mike & Ike's candy and plastic eggs fill with candy but some also had notes of things I'd do for him. Since he wont read this blog post until after opening his eggs, I gave him: 1 dinner meal that I cook, 1 time that I will fill up his motorcycle gas tank and 1 foot or back massage. Such a nice wife I am? hehe

Later in the day we took a motorcycle ride because the weather was really nice and we went to visit Laura, Rocky & Riley. Then Linda S. who was in town called and we all went over to where she was and visited for awhile. So much fun!

I didnt take a picture of dinner but we bought a ham and Tony put half of it in the crockpot and it smelled so delicious I wanted to eat it really bad! He also made mashed potatoes, crescent rolls and corn. Such a tasty dinner.

Hope you all had a fantastic Easter, if you want to let me know what you did in a comment I'd love to hear!
