Had an amazing weekend in Southern Utah with Tony. I have never been to Southern UT before except driving through it at night and I've always wanted to go and check out places like Zion, Moab, Bryce Canyon & whatever else was down there.
So Friday after work, my boss let everyone off early because of the holiday on Monday so even though my car was packed up I was able to stop by my house and grab a few extra items I'd forgotten, stop at Sonic to get a snack and ice and head out. Through Prescott traffic got pretty slow but after that it was a lot better. I made it to Hatch, Utah about 1130 (UT time) and followed Tony to our campsite.
Bryce Canyon had a lot of other sections and canyons to it
This gate was near the Wall Street hike. Which sadly was closed due to falling rocks the size of cars. So disappointing! Hopefully we can do that hike next time.
We weren't really able to find her...
Found a cool little "cave" on our hike
We ate lunch with this amazing view in front of us
Very cool twisty tree!
this section of the hike was very different! not so much rocks but scraggly trees
We hiked all the way from the other side! down up and around...not super long or hard...
towards the end of the hike
Didnt hike Bryce Point but at least we stopped to take a pic
By the end of the day I was so tired! Lots of walking and seeing things. It was great though! Got back to camp, made a campfire, s'mores, some soup, played a game on the ipod, looked at the stars, read scriptures and got ready for another adventure on Sunday. Stay tuned!

Thanks for sharing!
Gorgeous pictures! Matt and I went home for Memorial Day, and as we were driving through Southern Utah I had the biggest urge to go hiking there. It is too pretty!
Wow, looks like a ton of fun!
Hi Stacie, I might be related to Jesse. They're tons of DeWitts and yes DeWitt is my married name. My maiden name is Caldwell. I love southern utah. It looks like you had a fun time.
