February 14th was such a fun day. First it all started February 13th when I made treats for the people I visit teach. I have 7 people to visit! Except...I dont. Yea, shame on me. Long story I dont really want to go in to but I wanted to take these ladies treats for the holiday so here we go.
Cupcakes in the beginning stages
All decorated with strawberry frosting and cinnamon candies
Packaged up and ready to go
Dipped strawberry wafers in chocolate (red chocolate) and sprinkles
Here's a close-up
I also made sugar cookies , not for delivering but for Tony & I. The dough only made 12
I was supposed to bring these to the Pinterest party but I missed it because I was sick. So I delivered a couple to my friends who were there and then the rest went to my VT peeps.
Now on to Tony time - I decorated his bathroom mirror as a surprise for the next morning. This is a bathroom , really, it is a 1/2 bathroom 1/2 laundry room.
I took this idea from Pinterest - raspberries with a white chip inside
These were the flowers Tony bought for me. Love them. They are so pretty and the perfect colors for Valentine's Day.
Tony made us scrambled eggs for breakfast before we headed out to the mall in West Valley for the Cake Dive (see previous post). When I got home around 830am I was hungry again so I had 2 sugar cookies & a banana
Presents from Tony in the evening! Owl earring holder, cookies & some yummy hot chocolate.
We first stopped at Kebab House on Redwood Road which no longer exists. Sad day.
Then we went to Harbor Freight so I could buy Tony a couple tools he wanted - this was his present from me.
Then we went to eat at Puro Peru (used to be K'Rico)
I'm happy they brought out the Peruvian corn while we waited for our food
What I ordered...chicken breast, salad and rice. So yum
Tony got lomo saltado but with chicken. The sauce is different now but we both liked it a lot
Came home and were going to watch a movie but Tony had work the next day so we watched a couple shows in the DVR and called it a night.
All in all a great Valentine's Day! What did you do to celebrate...anything special?
