Joshua Tree Tour Guide

We hosted 3 girls visiting and studying the USA from Russia. They live in Kansas and Kentucky I believe it was. They wanted to go to a couple National Parks while they were in Ridgecrest for a night so on their second day we went to Joshua Tree for the whole day. It was such a fun adventure!

Tony & I first went to Joshua Tree in February 2017. We had moved to Ridgecrest in October 2016 and figured we should explore the National Parks around us.

This park does not disappoint! There are tons of Joshua Trees everywhere throughout the park. Great scenic views, hiking trails, picnic areas and rocks for scrambling.

Lots of sharp things too to watch out for.

The girls had a list of places they wanted to go in the park and we got through pretty much all of them!

The weather was cold but gorgeous and clear. Lots of chem trails in the sky made for some pretty additions to our pictures.

We decided to hike this trail and it did not disappoint. A nice loop, not hard and beautiful views. Lots of photo ops!

Thanks to Kate who mostly took my photos throughout the park but sometimes the other 2 girls did too.

Literally tons of rocks.

That view though! Rocks for miles. Lol. Rocks and cacti in various forms are the theme of Joshua Tree it feels like.

Looking out over Coachella Valley in one direction and Salton Sea in another direction.

Soaking in the view. And the 4G connection is decent here.
The whole park pretty much doesn't have service except for this area I've found.

I paused from catching up on all my phone notifications to get some photos.

Stay tuned for what happened at the Cholla Garden!
