NYE with Tony!

Tony braved a crazy blizzard in Utah and almost decided to turn around and not come but after 12+ hours of worry, he finally made it to Mesa. I was SO happy he was able to be here for New Years celebrating.

Thursday I worked til noon then went to pick him up and we went to Texas Roadhouse then saw Tangled and True Grit.

Friday I did not have to work! So we went to the Fiesta Bowl Parade in downtown Phoenix and stood by some interesting people..watched the floats go by and balloons and heard some good bands play. It was really fun! The weather was a little chilly but Tony & I shared hot chocolate.

Then we went to get my ring cleaned at Shane Co. and went to Costco + Fry's where we got some yummy treats for our New Years Eve dinner!

Popcorn from Popcornopolis - so good - we got cinnamon, Zebra and cheddar. Such a great deal (3 for $10) and sparkling cider from Fry's.
 Tony made nachos
and we got peppermint bark to snack on too

The pic above is from a waffle breakfast we went to with my friend Catt around 1am New Years morning early early. The family had a sweet lazy Susan decorated with holiday stuff and 2 very tall salt and pepper shakers!
There was hash browns, sausage, bacon and waffles you could make yourself with lots of toppings! It was SO super good

I loved ringing in the New Year with Tony. We didnt end up going to any YSA parties because we got lazy and tired (oops) but we did watch some of the Dick Clark Rockin New Years Eve party and the ball dropped and we had our oh so magical midnight kiss.

Next - blogging about New Years Day in Tucson
