Final Vacay Days in CA

After getting back from Camp Ritchie, Linda and I showered and relaxed for a bit (it felt so good to be clean again!)  We went to Big 5 and bought sleeping bags and hiking boots from a sweet sale going on.  In the same parking lot I bought some fireworks! Then we went to Old Spaghetti Factory in Sacramento for dinner! Birthday tradition! SO GOOD                                                                                                                                                It become a tradition the last few years that I have moved out of CA to AZ , that I road trip back for Girls Camp & the 4th of July which luckily fall pretty close to the same time. The Curteman's , awesome family, invite me to go watch the fireworks at Woodland HS with them. Like last year , there was a huge crowd of people gathered in the football field, bleachers, sidewalks and yards all over, to see the show. Pix above are me with Jackie, Camille and Matthew. The other 3 family members are not pictured.

Pretty pretty fireworks at Woodland High School on July 3rd 2010
On Monday I went to one of my all-time favorite places to eat in Davis, CA. CREPEVILLE!!
Kokob met up with me there and we enjoyed a delish breakfast, went to Bath & Body Works and to Target before I headed to Sac to meet my grandparents for lunch.

I ate with my grandparents at Smashburger, a place I've always wanted to go try (it's here in Arizona too!) but have never gotten around to going. I wish I had taken a picture but I didnt :-/ I left a few hours later to drive back to Arizona and the drive home was pretty uneventful. I took the 99 the whole way which avoided tons of stupid holiday traffic! Yay!

I sort of left out Sunday :( but I didnt take any pictures that day. I went to the Woodland 2nd ward for all 3 hrs of church and then went to visit some old neighbors, the Saragoza's, the Kelley's and the Valentine's. That took up all the rest of my evening pretty much! Tried to see a few others but they werent home. I'm soo grateful I could be back in Woodland for the 4th of July & Girls camp. I DEF dont take it for granted that I've been able to go back the last 3 yrs. Here's hoping I get to go again next year!

I LOVE smashburger. I've only been there a couple times, Dave doesn't like that much :)
