Tuesday night my cousin Paul texted me to see if I'd like to come to dinner at Benihana's for Rene's 30th birthday on Wednesday night. I'm so glad he invited me - I really enjoy hanging out with my cousin & his family!
Rene's friend Tenille also came, she is really cool. Her gift to Rene was a coffee mug that was black with a white rim on top and bottom. It came with a pen that we could use to decorate the mug and then it gets baked and the design/drawings/writing stays on permanent! I wish I had taken a picture of us decorating it but it turned out pretty cool. I thought it was a great gift!
They gave us two free ice creams and Paul & Rene and Joey were full so me and Tenille got them instead. I picked sherbet and she had strawberry.
Afterwards we went to Paul & Rene's house for mint chocolate chip ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins. Super fun evening and I'm glad Rene was able to celebrate such a fun birthday day!
