Alex Boye' & I after the concert!
The 22nd of February I was able to go to an Alex Boye' concert at the Mesa Arts Center which is on Main Street, not far from me. It was a variety of LDS artists which included The Duttons from Branson, Missouri, a local singer whose name I dont remember but she was really good on the piano and singing, and also Jenny Jordan Frogley. Of course, Alex Boye' was who I wanted to see the most but I did enjoy everyone else who performed. The Duttons were very energetic and did one of my favorite songs, "Cotton Eyed Joe". My seat was in the very front row on the left hand side (behind 4 short rows of "pit" seats) so I felt pretty lucky to be so close. Here are some pics from the concert that night:
Afterwards I got to meet him because he jumped off the stage and was shaking people's hands. He has the coolest accent because he is from England. He currently lives in Salt Lake City, UT. He remembered adding me as a friend on Facebook! We talked for a few moments, then out in the lobby I got my pic with him and he signed one of my cds. I have wanted to meet Alex Boye' for a long time and the chance finally came and it was definitely worth it!

holy hanna!! the local singer is my cousin maria scarlett. she has a new video out on utube called fight with me. I wish that I had all the money in the world and could have seen her live !!! I hope that all is well with you......lots of love
