Halloween NIGHT!

Halloween night turned out to be pretty fun here in Mesa. My friend Melissa came over to help me complete my costume as a gangsta by helping me braid my hair and lending me some 'bling' to wear. Her friend Justine came over too and she was really nice. Around 7:30 Blake and Alex showed up with a friend who just moved here from Utah. She was really nice too. Blake was dressed up as a Lego Man doctor (he totally flaked on being a gangsta with me!) and Alex was a blue M&M. Mike was a pirate. And later Daniel met up with us and he was superman. First we all went to a YSA dance at a stake center but there werent a whole lot of people there when we arrived. So we hung out there for 40 minutes maybe and then Alex and Daniel went to a maze somewhere, Blake & Alex took off somewhere.

Michelle, Justine and Melissa went to Chipotle to get free burritos after we made some cool accessories with foil.

Yay for free burritos!

Melissa is so suprised!

I guess I am surprised too. Mine is tasty! Not a shocker, Chipotle is always good! Esp FREE!

After we ate, we paid $5 to go to Rockin R Ranch sponsored by AZ Clean Party .There were so many people in line waiting to get in! It was an outdoor ranch/resturant type place. Hard to tell in the dark. The DJ was above the crowd throwing down glowsticks and mixing music. It was PACKED. Hard to move around and it was so loud. It was fun for about the first hour, then I just hung back on the edges and watched everyone. I saw some very interesting costumes.

I saw my friend Russ who I met at institute recently so he talked to me and Michelle for awhile. Around midnight we were ready to head out so we said adios and left. I'm glad I went. It was definitely something different to do on Halloween. In Woodland not much goes on, the past few years nobody has really done any cool parties that I am aware of. Last year I did go to hear a band play in Penryn with my friend Tim Quinn, and then we went to Jeff Dee's house (he served in the OPM) and we watched The Ring 2. This year Laura went to Aunt Sharons, continuing our weekly Wed. night tradition and then she told me she raced some cute bad boy down main street! I dont know what has gotten in to her lately! Was there a full moon that night? (JK Laura) I guess it is okay that I am here but it would have still been fun to just stay home, chill w/Laura and relax. Better luck...another time. Either way I'm glad I got to go out with some friends and have fun.

Hey!!! What do you MEAN better luck next time? Seems like you had a great party of fun on Halloween!! Great idea for a costume, and I totally dig the pumpkin face. My sis and her buds were there at Rockin R too that night! FU-UN!!! That place is a classic...we used to go to that, before MARRIAGE! :)

darn i dont remember seeing a ladybug or a bee but there were like millions of people there..of course you know this..so to find someone was a challenge. I can just picture your little dog pulling the blanket slyly off the couch. Funny stuff. HEY and when can I get hooked up w/your friend with the longboards? I cant stop thinking about how much I want one...
